Privacy Policy

Move Clean Bali is operated from Bali, Indonesia. We rent electric motorbikes and we run a small website to make that easier. This page explains what personal data we handle, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
We follow Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU 27/2022). If you visit our site from the EU, UK, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with stronger rules, we extend those rights to you as well.
What we collect
- Account data. When you sign up to book a bike, we collect your name, phone number, email, passport photo, and visa document (unless you are an Indonesian resident). This is required by Indonesian law for vehicle rental compliance.
- Booking data. Dates, bike, total price, and any optional add-ons you select.
- Browsing data. Pages you visit, the bike you look at, and whether you click on certain elements like the WhatsApp button. We use this to improve the site and to measure our ads.
Services we use
We rely on a small set of vendors to run the platform. Each of them processes only the data needed for their job.
Supabase
Account, authentication, bookings, and profile storage.
Data shared: Email, name, phone number, passport photo, visa document, booking history.
Resend
Transactional email (magic-link sign-in, booking confirmations, admin notifications).
Data shared: Email address, name, booking details.
Zoho Mail
Hosting our staffed support and partnership mailboxes, including replies to our emails.
Data shared: Email address, name, and the content of any message you send us.
WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta)
Optional booking notifications via WhatsApp, when you opt in.
Data shared: Phone number, first name, booking details.
Meta Pixel + Conversions API
Measure advertising performance and improve our campaigns on Instagram and Facebook.
Data shared: Page views, bike views, WhatsApp click, profile submissions, confirmed bookings. We hash your email and phone before sending them, so Meta cannot read them directly.
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights
Anonymous page view counts and performance metrics.
Data shared: Page URL, device type, country, anonymous visitor ID.
Google Maps and Places
Display the charging map and resolve pickup locations.
Data shared: Approximate browser location if you grant it. We never store precise location server-side without your action.
Cookies
Our site uses two kinds of cookies and similar storage:
- Essential. Sign-in session, language, and small preferences (like dismissing this banner). Without these the site cannot function.
- Analytics and advertising. Meta Pixel and Vercel Analytics set cookies to measure visits and attribute conversions. You can block these in your browser, or use a privacy extension, and the site will still work.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you the data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account and the data attached to it.
- Stop using your data for advertising measurement.
- Export your booking history.
Email spark@movecleanbali.com and we will reply within 30 days, usually within a few.
How long we keep your data
Booking records and identity documents are kept for as long as required by Indonesian rental and tax law, then deleted. Marketing data is retained for up to 24 months. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and personal data and keep only the minimal records the law requires us to keep.
